Terms of Service
Last updated 28 July 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Greypixel for using Hourvine. Using Hourvine means you accept them.
Your account
- You must be at least 13 to use Hourvine.
- Give accurate details and keep your password to yourself. Anything done from your account is treated as done by you.
- One account per person. Don't share logins.
- Tell us promptly at hello@greypixel.com if you think someone else is in your account.
What Hourvine is — and isn't
Hourvine plans time and reflects your own activity back at you. It is a productivity tool, nothing more.
It is notmedical, psychological, financial, legal or academic advice. Its scheduling suggestions, insights and AI responses are generated from your data and from language models, and they can be wrong. Don't rely on Hourvine alone for anything that matters — check deadlines yourself, and keep your own record of anything critical.
Hourvine offers different assistant tones, including a deliberately blunt Direct mode that you have to switch on yourself. It is a motivational style, not coaching or therapy. You can change it back in Settings at any time.
Your content
Everything you put into Hourvine stays yours. You give us only the permission needed to run the service — to store your content, show it back to you, and process it to build your schedule and insights.
When you use an AI feature, the relevant content is sent to our AI provider to generate a response. The privacy policy sets out exactly what goes where.
You are responsible for what you put in — don't upload anything unlawful, or anything you don't have the right to share.
Plans and payment
- Hourvine has a free tier and paid plans. Current prices are shown on the upgrade page before you pay.
- Paid plans renew automatically each month or year until cancelled.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
- Prices may change, but never for a period you have already paid for. We will give reasonable notice first.
- AI features have fair-use limits per plan, shown in Settings, so one account can't exhaust the service for everyone.
Cancelling and refunds
Cancel any time from Settings → Billing. Your paid features stay active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again.
14-day cancellation right. If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you have 14 days from starting a paid subscription to cancel it for a full refund under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. By subscribing you ask us to start the service immediately; if you then cancel within those 14 days we may keep a proportionate amount for the period you actually had access.
Beyond 14 days, payments are generally non-refundable — but if Hourvine was broken, or something clearly went wrong, email hello@greypixel.com and we will sort it out fairly.
Deleting your account cancels your subscription immediately and stops any further charges. Deletion is permanent and is not itself a refund request — if you want a refund, ask before deleting.
Acceptable use
Don't:
- Break the law, or use Hourvine to harm, harass or impersonate anyone.
- Try to access other people's accounts or data.
- Attack, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service.
- Resell Hourvine, or use it to build a competing product.
- Get around plan limits or fair-use caps.
We may suspend or close accounts that do these things. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why first.
Availability
We work to keep Hourvine up but we don't promise uninterrupted service. There will be maintenance, occasional outages, and dependencies outside our control. Features may change or be retired; if we remove something significant from a paid plan, we will give notice.
Keep your own copy of anything important. You can export everything at any time from Settings → Privacy & data.
Ending this agreement
You can stop using Hourvine and delete your account whenever you like. We may close your account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, or if we discontinue the service — in which case we will give reasonable notice and refund any period you have paid for but not received.
Liability
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be limited — including your statutory rights as a consumer, which these terms do not affect.
Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows: Hourvine is provided as it is; we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost opportunities such as a missed deadline or exam; and our total liability to you is limited to whatever you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we will give notice by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Hourvine after that means you accept the new version.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer elsewhere in the UK, you may bring proceedings in your own local courts.
